Self-Drilling Screw
A self-drilling screw joins metal sheets and profiles with a drill point that penetrates before the thread engages. It combines drilling and fastening in one operation within its rated thickness capacity.

A self-drilling screw assembles sheet metal and profiles without a separate pilot-drilling operation when material and thickness are within the point’s capacity. It is used in cladding and light framing.
Technical features
ISO 10666 is a reference for mechanical and functional properties. ISO 15480 covers hexagon washer-head configurations. Other head styles have different dimensional references.
Applications and assembly
Point type, length and coating are selected for drilling thickness and exposure. Roofing versions may incorporate a sealing washer, depending on the model.
