Leaf Spring Center Bolt
A spring bolt, or leaf spring centre bolt, keeps the suspension leaves aligned. Its cylindrical head helps locate the spring pack in the axle seat on trucks, buses and trailers.

The spring bolt passes through the centre of the leaf pack and maintains alignment. Its head locates the pack within the suspension assembly according to the vehicle design.

Made to the spring drawing or part reference. Diameter, length, head, thread, material and strength are specified. The catalogue lists medium-carbon steel and black oxide finish.
Applications and assembly
Used in leaf spring suspension maintenance. It does not replace the components clamping the spring pack to the axle. Installation requires suitable tools to compress and secure the leaves before fitting the bolt.
