Angular Rail Joint Bars

The angular splice bar forms part of a bolted rail joint. It fits alongside the rail web and works with joint bolts to maintain contact and continuity between rail ends.
Technical features
Manufactured to the rail profile and customer drawing. Section, length, bearing surfaces, hole diameter and spacing are controlled. Steel, treatment and finish follow the railway specification.
Applications and assembly
Matching hole locations and correct bearing against the rail profile are essential. Replacement requires identification of the rail type and existing splice bar geometry.
