Rail Screw Spike
A rail screw spike secures plates and track components to a sleeper through an anchoring thread. It is used in railway systems requiring a removable, tool-driven fastening. It secures plates and track components to the matching sleeper or insert.

A rail screw spike combines a driving head with a thread designed for the sleeper or track-system insert. It fastens the tie plate or other rail restraint components.
Technical features
Made to railway drawing, including diameter, length, thread profile and head geometry. Steel, heat treatment and finish follow the operator or project specification.
Applications and assembly
Used on mining, industrial and railway tracks. For concrete sleepers, compatibility with the insert is part of the design. It is not interchangeable with a hammer-driven rail spike.
