Carbon Steel Threaded Rod – ASTM A307
ASTM A307 carbon steel threaded rod is used for general fastening, suspension and assemblies secured with nuts. Continuous threading allows components to be positioned along the rod and lengths to be prepared for each installation.

A307 threaded rod provides a fastening element for supports, clamps and industrial assemblies. It can be cut to the required length, leaving threads available for nuts at both ends.
Technical features
ASTM A307 grade A specifies at least 60 ksi tensile strength; grade B specifies 60–100 ksi for cast iron flange joints. These grades do not specify a minimum yield strength. Inch threads follow ASME B1.1. Material strength alone does not establish the allowable load of the assembled joint.
Applications and assembly
Suitable for general fastening applications that do not require a high-strength grade. Unsupported length affects assembly stiffness. After cutting, burrs are removed and surface protection is restored where required.
