Eye and Hook Turnbuckle
An eye-and-hook turnbuckle adjusts tension in cables and guy lines through a body with opposite-handed threads. Its end fittings allow connection and length adjustment without rotating the entire cable. It adjusts the tension and effective length of cables, guy lines and bracing.

The turnbuckle contains one right-hand and one left-hand thread. Rotating the body moves the end fittings together or apart to tension the assembly and adjust its effective length.
Technical features
This configuration combines a closed eye with a hook. Selection is based on thread diameter, adjustment travel, material, finish and the model’s rated working load.
Applications and assembly
Used in guy lines, bracing and restraint. Loads must act along the turnbuckle axis, with sufficient thread engagement at both ends. Lifting requires a model expressly approved by its manufacturer.
