Expansion Bolt
An expansion bolt attaches supports and equipment to concrete through a sleeve or segment that expands inside a drilled hole. It is used for post-installed fixings without a cast-in anchor. It secures supports, equipment and fittings by expanding within a drilled hole.

An expansion bolt develops its fixing as a cone expands the body within the hole. Sleeve and wedge versions use different geometries and have their own load capacities.
Technical features
Selection includes diameter, length, embedment depth and fixture thickness. Substrate, concrete strength and coating must match the model’s technical data.
Applications and assembly
Used for equipment bases, brackets and fittings. Hole cleaning, installation torque and edge distances affect performance. Cracked concrete and seismic loading require a model evaluated for those conditions.
